So I’m no longer fresh off the boat, however I’m still trying to get back into the rhythm of London life, while planning and hoping to return to Lagos with a fuller programme funded by an organisation that believes in the importance of storytelling.
After completing the five-venue creative writing workshop tour across Lagos, I was so happy I shrugged off the nerves and took the courage to step into the light.
133 participants across secondary schools and community spaces. The feedback has been encouraging. Every category, session quality, facilitator knowledge, peer interaction was rated Excellent by participants. Not bad for first showings.
The Creative Writing Workshop: The Blank Page: Finding Your Voice isn’t just for aspiring writers. It’s for anyone who needs to communicate more clearly, think more critically, or build confidence in their own voice.
I’m now opening bookings for schools and organisations. If you’d like to bring this to your team or students, feel free to reach out or share this with someone who might benefit.
