Okay, here's my first post. I've decided to start a blog, because it's easier to update than my website, which is done in flash. It's now precisely 4 days after D-day, the launch and I'm still slightly high but with my feet very firmly rooted in reality. I have to admit that I didn't expect the level of attendance on the night, the joint was packed to the rafters and there wasn't even standing room. I can only apologise to those who came and couldn't get in, everyone keeps telling me it's a sign of success but I'm not so sure.Anyway, the launch is over and now I need to focus on getting reviews, publicity, press releases out, the book into bookshops and so much more. It's never-ending, I was hoping I'd be able to relax and concentrate on starting the second book but no. I'm calling up jaded journalists [...]
