So it's been awhile but finally website is up and running, film is done, press kit is done, new script is almost done and I'm almost happy. :-) More tweaks to be done on the site and script, but it's nice to finally have a working site. Yay
My plan was to have finished my website by the end of the year and integrate this blog into my new website. However, it doesn't look like that is going to happen anytime soon. After having paid for a service, I'm now being told that the two cannot be integrated. Looks like I'm going to have to brush up on my non-existent web design skills, instead of working on the Imagine This script. Talking about scripts, I've finished writing my first short and hope to shoot it next year. I've my first module assignment to hand in on 7th Jan, after that I can start scouting locations and casting for the roles. OMG, I'm super excited, the only fly in the ointment is that I'll probably be working on the website instead of my feature. After an exhausting week at the 20th Raindance Film Festival, I woke up this morning to a rainy Monday morning. It's turning out to be the kind of day that I just want to curl up under a duvet and watch the rain falling from the comfort of my couch. A few deadlines coming up and my head is about to explode, not the time to get ill, but have been hanging around sick people all last week. I've been asked to contribute a short story to a publication and suddenly find myself in the position of not having the time to write one due to other competing priorities.
