Yesterday I attended one of those SEO courses, learnt a lot and went home feeling that my website needs another big overhaul, barely a year after the last overhaul. Such is the pace of technology.  How did things get easier, yet more complicated?  Once upon a time, a website was all about search engine optimisation (SEO) now it’s all about likes and shares, social ranking and all the things that make me break out in a cold sweat.  Yep, I had issues growing up.

Tutor took a quick look at the current site and his advice was to integrate a visible social media presence into my website so people can connect with me.  The truth is I don’t really want that level of exposure.  Crowds freak me out and I’m that weird person who prefers clubs which are half empty.  More room on the dance floor for me and less people watching my awkward moves. 🙂   Can someone please invent a way for me to engage with people without me being online, oh wait that already exists.

Well on that silly note, here’s Man of the House, I’m posting it here just in case you haven’t listened to it. 🙂
