Today was supposed to be start day, but yet again things don’t go to plan.  I think what I need to do is not switch on my laptop.  All I was going to do was quickly check my email and then start.  I even cleaned the flat in anticipation.  (I work better when my flat is clean.) However got distracted with stuff again.  Spent the last 3hrs composing emails, filling out forms and trying to sort a trading relationship out with Waterstones via Gardners.  It all started because I wanted to see if I could order Imagine This from my local Waterstones.  According to them, the book doesn’t exist.  Yikes.  

Spoke to someone at Nielsen and it turns out Waterstones don’t have a record because I don’t have a trading agreement with them. (Them being Gardners via Waterstones) All very complicated and convoluted. Justin did send me the form 2 weeks ago and I completely forgot about it.  Well more like gave up on the idea, especially after reading about the kind of discounts Waterstones demand.

Good thing I didn’t go into this with a view to make money, if I had, I’d be pulling my hair out and having sleepless nights.  I’m about to lose thousands and it should bother me, but it’s only money.  I’ll probably have to go out and flip burgers soon, if things don’t pick up. Either that or camp out at a Tube Station with copies of Imagine This for sale. Hmmm

So once again, my good intentions have been swallowed up, but the day is not over and I can still get something done.
