The other day, I greeted the news that my short film More Cake was going to be screening at Raindance Film Festival with ambivalence.  On the one hand I was happy it had been accepted as one of the MA films showing, but there was a part of me that was disappointed because I knew friends, family, cast and crew would only have this one chance to see it on the big screen.

There will only be the one screening.  To make matters worse, it’s in the middle of the afternoon on a work day so the likelihood of people turning up is also going to be minimal.  Which is probably a blessing in disguise considering the theatre only has 88 seats.  Which brings me to the point of this post, anyone who would like to see what I’ve been yammering on about for the past 6 months will have to get a ticket from the  Box Office  pretty smartish before they sell out.

Afterwards we will be discussing the effects of digital technology on filmmaking, distribution and learning.  You all know how I love Q&As 🙂
